Wondering what the process is to refill ink with an inkjet refill kit? If you want to purchase your own kit, you’ll find the process is surprisingly simple. Most inkjet refill kit containers will come with specific directions and the process will vary based on which printer model you have, but this is a typical process.
In the case of Compaq inkjet printers, the black ink uses a pigment ink. You add refill ink through an air breathing hole on the top of the cartridge.You first remove the cartridge cap using a flat blade screwdriver.Then add ink until you see the ink emerge at the top of the foam.Replace the cap and secure with a hot glue gun, adding just a few drops. As an alternative, you can add cellophane tape.
